So last night we had Rachel's official Birthday Party. The McDougalls provided home made pizza dough and we all were able to take part in building our own pizzas. The kids loved it and so did the adults. It was great to spend time with everyone. I held the ice cream cake hostage. The ransom was a picture of all the kids on the couch. It worked out really well. Here are the names of the kids from left to right. Lydia Mcdougall, Rachel Evan, Eli Hintz, Reagan Broome, Lilly Yamauchi, Abbi Hintz, Madelyn Olmsted, and Owen Hintz.
Following the photo we brought out the ice cream cake. There was plenty of help from Rachel's friends when it came to blowing out the candles. Lydia ultimately came through for her.

Henry and I just watched the video of the birthday cake.
Henry said, "Yeeaaaaaaaah!" when Rachel blew out the candles.

It's so funny to see the change from one year to the next. Just let Lydia blow those candles out next year and see what happens!!!! Nicole, you look really good. Look at the picture of the kids on the couch, Bruce. Don't you think that Lydia looks like Erin in her baby pictures? Keep those videos coming! Love mom
what a fun party! madelyn was thrilled to be invited...you know how she loves a good party. rachel will have to show her the "birthday girl" ropes come september when it's time for maddie to blow out her candles. we love your page! keep the posts coming!
