San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park

Today we went to the San Diego Zoo's Wild Animal Park. We were expecting a drive thru safari type thing but it ended up being a walk through situtation pretty similar to a zoo. It was definitely focussed on African animals. Rachel is learning her letters and today she learned G for Giraffe and Gorilla and E for Elephant. It was very hot and a lot of fun. How big furry lions can lay around and cuddle in heat like this is beyond me! For pictures check the second half of the slideshow on the last post.
